Summer is finally here!!
Summer has finally arrived!! Time to lighten up those tresses and hit the beach! Remember to put some leave in conditioner if you plan on going in the pool. This helps keep a layer on your hair so that the chlorine can't penetrate through your hair as easy. Be sure to shampoo your hair after being in a chlorinated pool. The chlorine eats away at your hair and is not good for the hair at all. If your not getting your hair wet then no need to worry! :-)
Being out in the sun lightens your hair so be sure to condition your hair regularly and if you can find hair products that have a SPF that would help even more! (Redken has a few) This will enhance the health of your hair.
Tamming frizz is another summer headache. Using a oil based serum helps tame frizz if you are flat ironing. Humity resistance spray helps lock out moisture in the air. If this dosen't help opt for a keratin treatment. This is a conditioning treatment that eliminates frizz for 3-4 months.
